Access Worship began on April 14, 2019, after Sara Peaslee (Director) and Ben Keller (Organizing Pastor) realized they both had a desire to create a discipling and worship space for families with special needs. Sara is the mom of a son with Autism, and Ben has family members and friends with various special needs. Ben and Sara began to gather a team of others passionate about the idea – other parents, retired special education teachers, and pastors – and Access Worship was born!
Sangre de Cristo Dancerz & Haven School of Dance:
Access Worship is proud to partner with both the Sangre de Cristo Dancerz and Haven School of Dance! These talented and beautiful groups will often join us at Access Worship, leading us in worshiping God through movement!
It is our vision at Access Worship to partner with all churches as we seek to bring the good news of Jesus Christ to our community. We meet at 4:30 p.m. on the second Sunday of every month so that families who wish can continue worshiping with their faith communities on Sunday mornings. Contact Us at firstname.lastname@example.org for more information on how Access Worship can assist your congregation in welcoming families with special needs in our community!
First Presbyterian Church:
First Presbyterian Church is happy to be a partner of Access Worship. Since 1870, First Presbyterian Church has been an active and integral part of the Pueblo community. They host and support dozens of nonprofits and community partners and strive to be a place of full inclusion for all people in all aspects of life and ministry.
